Goal: Given a written regular word, the student can sound out the word in a whisper and then say it, and
can also spell it out and write it.
Goal: Students can put scrambled sentences in the correct order to make a paragraph.
Goal: Given a regular word, the student can segment its sounds, spell the word, then relay a memory or
thought it evokes.
Say these words, then direct student to segment, spell, then tell a story, memory or reflection about the word:

Goal: The student can recognize long vowels in spoken words.
