Goal: Given written directions with irregular words, the student can read them accurately.

Lesson C - Introduce kn (knee)

Goal: Given a printed letter combination, the student can say its sound, and can read, spell, and write words with the letter combination.

kn-

When I point to the letter combination kn say the sound that it makes, otherwise stay silent or give a thumbs down.

Get to know some kn- word:

Chain writing: knit, knot, knob, knock, know, knows, knots, knicks, knee, kneel, knell, knelt, knew, know, known

Lesson D - Letter Combination Accuracy: th … ay, or, kn

Goal: Given printed letter combinations, the student can discriminate between them and say the sound of each. The student can also spell, and write words with the letter combinations.
